Andrea Peterson considers herself more of a storyteller, than anything; be it behind the camera, through words on a page, or acting on stage or film. She got her undergraduate degree in Literature before moving on to get her Masters’ degree at Boston University in Broadcast Journalism. Andrea has freelanced as a video-journalist from New York to Miami, and spent several trips in Latin America working on mini-documentaries. While in Miami, she worked as a Producer/Shooter/Editor for a lifestyle network, Plum TV; also directing a weekly morning news show. Andrea now lives in Salt Lake City, Utah and owns her own production company, DoYouSee Productions. Her projects have ranged from advertising and marketing, music videos, mini-documentaries, non-profit fundraising, and independent films. She has recently produced, written, directed, and edited two short films “Past a Moment” which was accepted into the Fear No Film Festival and “Sisters,” which is currently in post-production. During the summer of 2015, she directed/edited Robyn Cage’s music video “Theatre Noir” which earned her a nomination for Best Editing at the 2015 Utah Music Awards. Most recently, Andrea is the show runner, writer, actor, and editor for the web series “You Again.”

Andrea’s life is driven by an unassailable curiosity for the world. She is not content to settle into the 9-to-5 corporate prison of gray cubicles and buzzing fluorescents. To her life is not factory lines. It moves, changes, varies, and offers a winding labyrinth to venture through. She refuses to accept a stale belief that what she knows at this very moment is all she needs to know the rest of her life.
